From Scrolls to Sale: How to make people notice you
Nowadays it’s harder than ever to get people’s attention. Everyone scrolls fast, skips ads, and forgets brands right away. I know how discouraging that can be and seems that reaching your customers is impossible. You’ve probable spent hours creating content that doesn’t get the reaction you wanted to; I know this because I have been there too.
As a marketeer my mission is to make marketing tools easy to understand and apply.
My goal? Turn marketing tools into actionable steps, so you can spend more time attending your clients
AIDA model
One of the tools that’s simple to understand and helps you see the stages you will need to take your customers through is the AIDA model. AIDA stands for Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action, this funnel can help you change how you communicate your brand.
Think of this model as a step-by-step guide to help reach your audience more effectively.
The best part? AIDA can be applied to any business, which makes it a great and useful tool for anyone reading this article. And in this post, I’ll simplify how to use it.
HOW TO APPLY
Let’s think of a small coffee shop. They want to attract more customers and turn them into regulars. Here’s how we can apply the AIDA model to this example

Attention: To grab attention, the coffee shop could post a short video showing how they prepare their signature cold brew coffee. Using ASMR sounds, that instantly capture people’s attention.
Interest: This part is more challenging because you need to make people interested in your coffee shop. You can use a competitive advantage to show customers what makes you different form others. For example, something like, “we roast our beans locally”.
Desire: In this step we want people to go. You can show how our customers enjoy their drinks, baristas happy. The idea is to make people imagine themselves being there.
Action: Offer a call to action, like “if you are a new customer get a 10% discount
As the example shows, you don’t need to post or create videos just because someone says you “need to be consistent”. What really matters is to guide your customers through these steps turning curiosity into real actions.
That’s why the AIDA model is powerful.
How to start?
You don’t need to spend a lot of money or an expert marketing team to begin, just have a clear message and communicate it using the right steps.
Start small, choose one of your posts already posted and check what you wanted to communicate and if it covers the four steps of the AIDA model. If not, review what can you improve for the next one and always remember to have a purpose.
As you practice you will start gaining experience and your communication will start to feel natural.

Remember, marketing isn’t about doing a hundred things at once, it’s about doing them with purpose.
